Global Compensation Manager

Yelp is an iconic consumer internet company with about 5,000 employees in the United States, Canada, and Europe. We are looking for an innovative Compensation leader who wants to make a lasting and positive difference in our growing organization. As the Global Compensation Manager you will help build and elevate Yelp's global compensation strategy, philosophy, programs, policies, and initiatives. The person in this position reports to the Director of Total Rewards and will manage all compensation-related activities across the company and the team that supports them. The Global Compensation Manager will be the driving force behind innovative solutions that keep Yelp on the cutting edge of total rewards initiatives. This is a full-time remote position based in the United States. Where You Come In:
You will bolster Yelp's Global Compensation function to effectively design, implement, administer and manage the compensation strategy, philosophy, programs, policies, and initiatives We will count on you to bring your expertise and perspective to evaluate our compensation programs, including base pay, equity, incentive compensation, performance rewards, and recognition practices Take a close look at our existing compensation practices and recommend changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and Yelp's overall mission Partner with leaders in Yelp's People, Finance, Legal, and Stock Administration teams to design competitive, effective, and equitable compensation programs Manage compensation market pricing and benchmarking efforts, including identification of benchmarking solutions and participation in surveys Keep a pulse on emerging trends, issues, and best compensation practices, and take a data-driven approach to help enhance programs, processes, or address stakeholder concerns Manage and monitor approved annual budgets and processes approved by Yelp's senior leaders and/or Board Manage the moving pieces in various projects and bring your insight and expertise to compensation and cross-functional People projects Develop, implement and elevate compensation communication and training programs for managers and Yelp's People team Guide the development and management of compensation analytics, tools, and systems What it Takes to Succeed:
You are a passionate benefits and wellness professional with 7
years of experience in compensation plan strategy, design, and administration with proven experience designing and implementing compensation programs globally You're a hands-on people manager with a track record for hiring, developing, guiding, and engaging professionals You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, MBA or advanced certification (CCP, CBP, CEP, or SPHR) You rise to the occasion, move quickly to find solutions, and effortlessly manage sensitive and confidential information Experience managing global programs including in the United States, Canada, and EMEA A core understanding of applicable compensation laws and regulatory requirements in the U.S., Canada, and EMEA You're someone the team can rely on, offering optimism through tough problems, and you are a strong promoter of team chemistry and professionalism Your leadership skills are well-balanced with a willingness to play a hands-on role in key projects Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively communicate benefits and wellness strategies at all levels, from administrative to the C-Suite Ability to think globally, strategically and equitably to effectively translate data into actionable insights, strategies, and financial plans You know how to connect the dots between data and analytics to tell a cohesive story Comfort building compensation models to help inform budget planning Other Requirements:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
