PUaJ23H Department Maintenance & Engineering FLSA Hourly Non-Exempt Shift 12 hour shift rotate/swing Level/ Grade P5 Reports to Engineering & Maintenance Manager Location Decatur, AL USA Expectations Process Maintenance Operator is responsible for the periodic and breakdown electrical & mechanical maintenance of the all the equipment in complete facility.
Initiate periodic maintenance work.
Strong technical knowledge to address breakdown maintenance.
Precise calibration of instruments.
Execute all Preventive maintenance.
Completion of all necessary checklists and logs.
Responsibility 1.
Environmental Safety Security and Health (ESSH) 1.
1 Understand and follow all policies, rules and guidelines relating to ESSH 1.
2 Always wear appropriate PPE as outlined in ESSH policies.

3 Report every incident or injury to your immediate supervisor 1.
4 Participate in incident investigations 1.
5 Identify any risks to individuals, the environment or the site 1.
6 Questions situations, processes or procedures that appear unsafe or put the site at risk 1.
7 Recognizes unsafe work conditions created by other workers 2.
Storeroom Process 2.
1 Apply safety regulations in the work area 2.
2 Apply 5S conditions in the work area 2.
3 Assist Engineer in breakdown troubleshooting 2.
4 Support internal or external teams in the installation of new machines, equipment 2.
5 Execute all the PM and Lubrication work orders.

6 Assist Engineer in improvement activities.

7 Participate in preparation of preventive maintenance schedule & condition monitoring plan 2.
8 Conduct preventive maintenance of machines & it's components as per plan 2.
9 Conduct conditioning monitoring of equipment as per plan 2.
10 Analyze losses to identify root cause & implement CAPA 2.
11 Maintain records of machine maintenance & shutdown as per system procedure 2.
12 Participate / Attend all breakdowns and shutdowns 2.
21 Other duties as assigned Competencies Technical Expertise Advanced Mechanical Knowledge Intermediate Computer Skills Behavioral Ability to help motivate members of a team Good Communication Ability to communicate with various levels of organization Ideal Incumbent profile Education High School Diploma or GED.
Associates Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical maintenance or equivalent education preferred Industry Experience At least two years of experience of manufacturing maintenance preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
