Summary:
Assists Physician as Scrub Tech During Cardiac Procedures /Pacemaker Implants.
Maneuvers X-Ray Equipment into rotated/skewed Positions to acquire Diagnostic Images of the Heart or other anatomic areas as needed.
Assists with inventory and supplies, assists in transport of Patients to and from Cath LabDemonstrates through behavior Decatur Morgan Hospital's mission, vision and values.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities / Essential Functions1.
Advanced EKG interpretation /Blood Pressure/ Oxygen2.
Operations of various equipment:
Digital X-Ray Equipment, Hemodynamic Monitor.

Intravascular Ultrasound/ Doppler Pressure Wire, Pressure Injector4.
Intra- Aortic Balloon Pump5.
Assist Physician in Pacemaker implantation/ Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization6.
Inventory/supply procurement/ Billing /CodingQualificationsMinimum Knowledge,Skills and Experience Required:
Skills:
Basic Computer, Hemodynamic Monitoring, Basic EKG Interpretation, Operation and Manipulation of X-Ray Equipment ,Intravascular Ultrasound/Doppler Pressure wire.
Experience Required:
One year Cardiac Cath Lab or Neurovascular/ Peripheral Vascular Angiography Lab.
Education:
2 Years Accredited School of Radiologic Technology/ Current State and National Registry ACLS/BCLS.
Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Artificial Cardiac Pacemakers Billing Blood Pressure Catheterization Laboratory Coronarography Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
