$103K - $131K a year 13 days ago 13 days ago 13 days ago Summary/Objective The Director of Human Resources is responsible for promoting, communicating, and implementing human resources strategies and initiatives, supporting the mission and values of GreenPoint Ag, and influencing best practices.
The position will be lead support for the Retail leadership team as an expert on human resources practices, providing counsel and feedback, while leading a team of top-notch Human Resources professionals.
This position will be responsible for leading the execution of HR strategies for the Retail division as it relates to talent management, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinker, creative problem solver and trusted business partner building collaborative relationships across the business.
The willingness to roll up the sleeves to do whatever it takes to accomplish the task at hand is important for this person's, and the team's, success.
This new role is a hands-on partner focused on driving HR operation effectiveness and efficiency and will report to the Chief People Officer.
Essential Functions Effectively aligns HR strategy, goals, and objectives to overall business strategy and objectives; provides guidance and active partnership on talent management, employee relations, organization design and compensation; teaming up with subject-matter experts to develop needed solutions.
Demonstrates a passion for understanding the business by spending time in the business, ensuring alignment with the team on goals and initiatives; exhibits servant leadership by lending a hand, especially during crunch time.
Provides visionary leadership and guidance to the HR team, fostering a culture of excellence.
Effectively partners with others in development and execution of talent acquisition plans and strategy to ensure both an internal and external pipeline of candidates.
Champions the employee experience, modeling what it means to be an ambassador for GreenPoint Ag's culture, vision, mission and core values.
Establishes and maintains consistent, high quality HR services for employees and managers.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, and new technologies in human resources; applies this knowledge to communicate potential changes in policy, practice, and resources to leadership.
Ensures services, policies, practices, and programs are consistent with company objectives and are compliant with federal, state, and local laws.
Analyzes people analytics to proactively generate insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Leads change management initiatives, guiding teams through organizational changes and promoting resilience and adaptability.
Develops and manages assigned budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve strategic objectives.
Supervisor Responsibilities Oversees team of Regional HR Managers and Sr.
Regional HR Managers dispersed in the field.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
At least ten years of human resource management experience required, including demonstrated experience leading a team.
HR certification is highly desired.
Multi-location experience strongly preferred.

Knowledge of training techniques and classroom presentation skills.
Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting.
Occasional time spent in warehouse facilities with variable temperature.

Sitting for extended periods and the use of hands to finger is common.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
